The hula skirt swap is made on a safety pin. Cut rafia into 4″ lenghts. Using a larks head knot, attach the rafia to the safety pin. Cut the rafia to desired length. Using the larks head knot again, attach a piece of ribbon to the loop of the safety pin. String a few small beads onto a piece of chenille wire and attach to the safety pin by wraping the wire around the pin.
